Stylish, approx. 5-year-old Tilly was turned into the police and then Queens ACC wearing this adorable tie-dye hoodie. Shelter volunteers reported “Tilly is a worried girl, who alternates between seeking affection and getting nervous to find herself so close to you. She sidesteps over to press herself into you, or plants herself on your feet and you can’t help but swoon at her attempts for connection. The shelter has notes sensitivity around her neck and we have seen the same — perhaps pain or something else happening to make her so concerned. Her most delightful behavior are her little tippy taps. We laugh as she dances in front of us anticipating a treat.” Our friends at Red Hook Dog Rescue were committed to figuring out a plan to save her life, and they did! They found temporary foster placement for her, however, after her most recent foster could no longer care for her, they needed to send her to a boarding facility they trusted, and we chipped in for the cost to help keep Tilly safe and sound.
