This 10-month old pup was in foster with Minnesota-based Ruff Start Rescue when he developed an intestinal blockage after eating a 5-inch stuffed toy. He needed emergency surgery to remove the blockage, as well as a follow-up visit for concerns about infection. Sadly, he ultimately was diagnosed with sepsis that could not be treated and had to be humanely euthanized 🌈. The rescue did everything they could for him and we’re grateful they gave him his best shot. His treatment accumulated nearly $6,000 in unexpected medical bills for the organization.
