Shirley Temple
Meet Shirley Temple (formerly known as Ginger at Montgomery County Animal Services in Texas) — the latest sweetheart our incredible partner Pippy’s Pals has saved with their Hansel Help grant! She urgently needed out of the shelter after being attacked by her kennel mate.
Shirley is a shining example of the loving, resilient spirit of dogs. She was in the shelter for three months after being surrendered as part of a disturbing cruelty case. She has probably spent her whole life (approx 4–6 years) in a kennel, yet she's still happy and so full of love.
She'll need heartworm treatment before she's ready for adoption, which will be supported by our Hansel Help funding.
The rescue shares "She's doing great in her foster home — an easy breezy girl" and that "she is the happiest girl who shows love to every single person she meets." Cheers to you, Shirley Temple! 🍹❤️ 🥹
