Cuddle bug Raven was a volunteer favorite at Queens ACC who found herself at risk for euthanasia for medical reasons. She clearly came from a home that loved her, but was surrendered when her guardian of five years couldn’t afford her medical care. This year, she began experiencing skin issues including extremely irritated, swollen paws that would need extra TLC outside of the shelter, where she had been waiting for two months. We pledged $400 to a rescue that pulled her, and we’re so grateful that Muddy Paws stepped up and that she will be heading to a foster home soon!

Raven has been sweet and chill with humans and dogs alike. She is a bundle of pure love who loves baths and car rides. She also loves hugs — check out this video of her holding onto a volunteer’s leg that captured all of our hearts. Our vision for Raven’s future? All the cuddles.
