This sweet, perfect, polite girlie is PennyLou, and she needs your help. We are honored to be covering a portion of her medical care for Every Last One Rescue, but she still has thousands of dollars of remaining vet care costs ahead. We’ll let her amazing rescuers tell you about her:

“PennyLou is what real resilience looks like. At 8 years old, when she should be settling into her golden years, she found herself in NYCACC as an owner surrender. She was sick, neglected, and running out of time. PennyLou didn’t give up. And we won’t either. When Every Last One Rescue saw the fight in her, we knew she deserved a chance not just to survive, but to finally live!
Right now, PennyLou is facing a long road. She needs extensive medical care, including a cardiology workup and echocardiogram for her heart, surgery to remove painful growths in her ears, a full dental, and a spay to protect her future health.
Before any of that, she must first regain her strength through weeks of refeeding and antibiotics. Her care is estimated to reach nearly $10,000.
Despite everything she’s endured, PennyLou is gentle, affectionate, and full of wiggles! She loves kids, cats, and other dogs. She is, simply put, a perfect girl who has lived far less than a perfect life.
We are so grateful for the generous donation from The Hansel Foundation toward PennyLou’s medical needs. Now, she still needs her community.
