Our partnership with Washington-based Concern For Animals is a very special one, and a first for both organizations! CFA’s amazing program provides vet vouchers averaging between $200-400 for low-income families in their community, for non-routine and emergency medical, as well as a special vet voucher program for senior citizens and their pets. This year, we’re sponsoring their first fund specifically focused on vet vouchers for families of pit bull-type dogs. Our whole mission is to give an extra boost to the dogs (and their people!) who are most in need of support, and this is an incredible way to do just that.

In May and June, our grant made vet care more affordable for 11 pittie families across western Washington. One of them is beautiful senior human + dog duo Janice and Lucy. In this note that we will treasure, Janice shares:

“I was able to get Lucy checked in at the vet clinic — without your help, she would not have been able to be looked at. She was diagnosed with arthritis… a shot and pain pills have helped her a lot. She also had all of her shots, an ear infection was cleared up, and she got her toenails clipped. She is a much happier dog today because of you.
To the staff of Concern for Animals — you’re appreciated more than you know! Thank you so much!”

We could not be more honored to support this amazing organization and the pet parents who rely on them. We love you, Janice, Lucy, and CFA!
