Duke is a very smart and special boy who lived with a teenager, two dogs, a cat, and even a rabbit in his previous home! He was surrendered to Queens ACC due to a lack of time to care for him, and became stressed and shut down in his kennel. That didn’t stop him from winning over volunteers, like our dear friend Elizabeth who’d just recently lost her soul dog. When Duke was put at risk for euthanasia, she stepped up to foster him through the amazing Mr. Bones & Co.! We’re so relieved he’s safe and that we were able to honor our $200 pledge for him. We can’t wait for him to blossom in foster, like so many dogs do when they’re just given a chance. 🤎
