This sweet face belongs to an equally sweet girl, Ava! She’s a chill 5-year-old lady. She spent two days at a police precinct before being brought to Queens ACC, then weeks in a crate in the shelter’s overflow room, without room to stretch her legs or be seen by adopters. Despite this, she was beloved by volunteers. Ava has now been rescued by Miracle Lane Farm and Sanctuary and is in a foster home where she’ll have the literal and figurative space she needs to flourish! We’ve honored our $200 pledge to support her care, and we’re so relieved she’s out of the shelter!
