Okay, so we don’t like to play favorites with Hansel Help recipients. But considering Anna Banana walked with the bridesmaids in our executive director’s wedding, we think we can make an exception.

Anna is a perfect, goofy, rotund, sploot-tastic ball of love for everyone she meets. She’s 9 years old and has the silliest salt and pepper face we ever did see. And she’s already found her forever home! Here’s what our partners — and her rescuers! — One Tail At A Time have to say about her:

“Anna was surrendered to Chicago Animal Care and Control a couple of months ago. She came in with two other dogs, Myrtle (rescued by another org) and Barney, who we also took in. From the get-go, this short stack was a volunteer favorite! She even attended a wedding and charmed the entire guest list. 💖

After a few weeks, her foster mom decided to make it official and Anna gets to stay forever! Big thank you to our friends at The Hansel Foundation for sponsoring Anna and allowing us to say ‘yes!’ to more amazing pitties from CACC!
