A couple of weeks ago, we honored a small pledge to this perfect 6-8 month old puppy at Chicago Animal Care and Control, then known as Scooby Doo. He has a grade 5 heart murmur, meaning he would need an echocardiogram and possible surgery.

We are so grateful Border Tails Rescue pulled him, and we love that renamed him Angelest Angel Baby Ever — yes, really! This superlative sweetie is now listed for adoption on their site and we think that name describes him perfectly. Thrilled to be a small part of his story, along with our friends at The Rosenthal Family Foundation who also donated to support him.
